POCHA NIGHT Banzarbar

August 10th Sunday night and only Sunday night, Haera Shin joins Banzarbar for a Pocha Bar Takeover.

POCHA: A PLACE FOR LATE FOOD AND DRINK

Celebrating her upcoming book, Korean Cocktails, by making some Korean cocktails - and some collaborations with Banzabars own Beatriz Almeida. Haera Shin is a veteran of NYC’s bars and restaurants, most recently having run the beverage program for both coasts of the Momofuku Empire, and a turn at the venerated Tao.  Expect toasted sesame and rye, melons fresh from H Mart, and rum and banana milk.  We've got some fresh tricks up our sleeves for this one.  

ANJU: DRINKING FOOD 

Chef Jae Lee - chef and founder of Nowon the inventor of the Chopped Cheese Ricecakes. Fried chicken, the famous rice cakes, and some surprises from the Banzabar culinary team.  Drinking food.  The best kind.  

Space is still very limited.  Reservations encouraged.  

LOCATION

BANZARBAR is a twenty-seat cocktail bar on the second floor of Freemans Restaurant.  To access the bar, travel to Freemans Alley off of Rivington Street between the Bowery and Chrystie, proceed to the end of the alley, then enter Freemans Restaurant through the blue door.  The Maître D’ will escort you up to the second floor to BANZARBAR.

 
 

RESERVATIONS

BANZARBAR takes reservations for parties of 1-4 guests 14 days out to the numerical date.  Walk-ins are taken if there is availability on a first come, first served basis. BANZARBAR is an intimate seated experience for small groups.  Please do not make multiple smaller reservations for a single large party.  It will not be honored. If you’d like to book a large party please call us directly.
